Pretty Pastels

Hi loves! I adore pastels so when I put this outfit together, it easily became my favorite, currently anyways! Soft peach, pink, lavender with a touch of "greige" (beige + gray). I just added silver accessories and my purple nails were a nice compliment to the outfit. I honestly cannot wait to wear this outfit again!

Last night, my sister and I met up with our friend Ashley downtown at The Hard Rock Cafe. They have live band karaoke on Wednesday nights and Ashley is an awesome performer! She actually has a showcase there next Monday so the owner wanted her to come and promote the show. He was super nice and actually paid for our dinner! The perks of living in Nashville are sometimes pretty cool! Also, I have some good news I'll be sharing in my next post!

Peek Into Instagram

Hey y'all! I said in a previous post I post daily on Instagram (@corkyree). Not always a full outfit but I thought I'd share a few of my close up Instagram outfit posts. I also decided to cut my hair on Wednesday! I chopped about 5-6 inches off and got rid of all the ombré. It was very brittle from all the bleach that had been on it so I decided a new style would be the way to start over! I'm heading home to see my mamma & for my best friends birthday in Ohio this weekend! One of my best friends from San Antonio is coming with me, she's always wanted to see where I grew up, 'cause it's the cutest town ever! I'll share pics when I return to Nashville.

Floral Meets Edgy

Hi lovies! I absolutely love "edgy" accessories that are also girlie. When I came across this necklace for only $1.99 at Old Navy, I knew it'd be coming home with me! This top has a gorgeous floral print but the black trim and gold buttons it gives it a little edge. I paired it with a simple black circle skirt, black sandals and gold accessories. This outfit might be in my top favorites! (You can check out how I styled this top before here.)

Another Year Older...

Hey y'all! It's already almost been a month since I posted last, oops! I thought I would be better at posting, but I've been pretty busy lately so blogging has had to take the back seat for the last few weeks. Anyways, I turned 26 on January 22. I was actually very depressed and not thrilled about this years birthday, but my family and friends made it wonderful and I didn't feel any different. Age is just a number, right? ;) My actual birthday was on a Wednesday, so I had work, but it was the best work day EVER! We started out with donuts and flavored coffee from Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast and Ali, my co-worker got me a card and flowers! We also went out for lunch at Dairy Queen! I know that doesn't seem like much but I love the chicken strip basket from there! For dinner, since my mama couldn't be here, my Aunt Christie made me lasagna and my uncle made me some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for my dessert! They also got me two flower arrangements and money! My sister had gotten me a ticket to the Nashville Predators game the Monday before my birthday and also a monogrammed sweatshirt, that is oh so cute (I have a post for it coming soon!). My dad took me and my sisters out to dinner on Thursday to Cracker Barrel and then that night one of my best friends, Marcie, from San Antonio flew in for the weekend to celebrate my birthday! We had so much fun, as we always do! Her visit this time was shorter than usual but it was a spontaneous trip, but well worth it! Then this past weekend, my mama and grandma came down to visit. I'm very blessed with the family and friends God has placed in my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything! Here's a few pictures of it all!

Red Skinnies & Black Boots

Hey y'all! So the day after Christmas, is just as crazy as the last few days before Christmas. People are out returning things and spending gift cards/money they got for Christmas. Stores do have awesome sales going on, trying to get rid of inventory by the end of the year because their Spring items will be in stores very soon. I went shopping with my best friend Marissa. After shopping we had dinner & drinks at TGI Friday's and had the best time! We giggled like we were back in high school. :) Laughter really is the best medicine! After that, we headed back to our town and went to one of the local bars and got to hang out with so many of our friends. Once the bar closed, we headed to a friends house to play card games and just hang out. So much fun, I'm truly blessed to still be close with my friends I grew up with! Anyways, here's my outfit from that day!

Pretty Preppy

I totally forgot to post this outfit. It's actually from a month ago! Oops! This was when my hair was dark red! It was fun while it lasted. I wore this to a baby shower and then over to my dad's to celebrate his birthday. I love anything black & white, so this shirt is one of my favorites. Hey Y'all! I have been so busy the last few weeks I keep forgetting to take outfit pictures! Today I snapped a couple on my phone because I am obsessed with each of these individually, so of course I love them when they are all together! I wore this to work today. I'm lucky I have a job where I can wear pretty much whatever I want! :) Today was an odd day so I took a bubble bath, had some sweet red wine to relax and now I'm laying in bed while I'm posting this. Mint With Polka Dots

I know mint has been having a moment for a little while now but can I just tell y'all I'm obsessed. From clothes to nail polish to accessories, I'm a sucker for it! I was in Kohl's a few weeks ago and as soon as I saw this top I knew it was going to be mine. It was also in white with black polka dots but I bought the mint. If you know me then that is actually a shocker because I live in black and white mostly! I  wore this to dinner and then we ended up going bowling. I hadn't been in almost a year so it was lots of fun and quite entertaining! I only got one picture where I'm actually wearing this outfit but I loved it so I laid it out on my (unmade) bed, sorry bout that!
