I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family & friends! I have two outfits I'm sharing in this post. I really love both outfits and can't wait to wear these pieces again with other items in my closet. First outfit was from Saturday and the second is what I wore today.

Church Christmas Cantata

Tonight was my church's Christmas Cantata. I wanted to wear something with a little sparkle and luckily I had this cardigan that had just enough! I literally had 20 minutes to find something to wear and I'm actually happy with this outfit. I got these textured tights last year and happy they are still in good condition that I can still wear them! And they match the color of my boots perfectly which is awesome!

Cardigan: Old Navy $15 sale
Lace trimmed tank: American Eagle $19.99
Skirt: Wet Seal $6.99
Tights: Target $9.99
Boots: Target $29.99

Simple but Cute!

Last night I had a little Christmas Party at my grandparents house for my mom's side of the family. I wanted to be comfortable because later that night my best friend and I went out and were going to be wearing heels! I love dressing up but love being comfortable more the older I get! Hehe :) Anyways here's what I wore!

I decided to throw a cardigan on because it wasn't cold enough for a coat but too cold for bare arms.

Love hot pink with navy so I decided to wear it on my lips!

These flats are my go to! Nude, so they go with everything and the ruffle detail just adds that extra girly touch!

Navy t-shirt: Old Navy $8
Jeans: American Eagle $29.99
Belt: Steve Madden (ROSS), set of 2 $9.99
Cardigan: Target, clearance $11.98
Flats: Target $12.99
Scarf: My grandma's, given to me when she passed
Earrings (came with a necklace set, not pictured) & Watch: Walmart $6.88 & 10.88

Wish List Follow-Up

I listed 4 items at the end of October that I had been looking for. (My Fall Wish List- if you want to look at the items.) I ended up getting the rhinestone dress and then I did find a red button-up finally. I have been on the hunt for tall light brown boots like those from Walmart. I know they were only $31 but they were online only and I really wanted to try them on before I bought. So I'm still looking. I also found green jeans at Walmart on sale for $11! I held off on buying them though because I have red and don't wear them very often and figured I would wear the green less. Next time I go, if they still have them I'll grab them, but I can do without! Here's just a few pics of the dress & shirt I did get though! I love them both and I'm really happy with them!

Rhinestone Bodycon Dress: Forever 21, $24.80

Red Collarless Button-Up: Old Navy, sale $15
It is 100% Polyester but has a soft, almost velvety silk-like texture, it's awesome!
It has a 3/4 sleeve if anyone was wondering!

Plaid & Boots

I love love love my brown boots! I also love plaid and almost every button-up I own is some kind of plaid! Oh well! :) They are all different but I think this one is my favorite. I love the little bit of turquoise in it! This collage was done with the app PicStitch on my iPhone. I then put an edited version on Instagram but here it is before the effect!

Plaid Button-up: I believe this is from Vanity? I got it a few years ago as a gift
Destroyed Jeans: Love Culture, $31.50
Belt: Came on a dress from Rue 21
Boots: Wet Seal, $26
Aviators: Walmart, $5
Brown & Turquoise Bracelet: Target, set of 6 for $7.99
"Wish" Bracelet: Aeropostal, Set of 2 $6 on sale
Watch: Watch Factory, Tanger Outlets $10
Ring: Charlotte Russe, Set of 3 for $8
Nail Polish: ULTA, "The Jungle Look" $6, usually on sale

2012 Is Almost Over

2012 is coming to an end. This has been one helluva year! I think back to everything that has happened and it's just crazy to think about. I started this blog, my best friend came to visit for spring break, I had the best summer job (being a nanny), I got to go to Disney World for the first time, my mom came down to visit, got to watch two of my best friends get married and get to be home for the Holidays! Those are all the wonderful things of 2012. Then there's been a few downfalls, one is that I was very recently diagnosed with diabetes. I took it very hard and I am still obviously adjusting to my new life. I won't go into all the boring details of everything I have to do now! :\ Anyways, this past weekend my sister came up from Nashville! Our niece's 1st birthday party was on Sunday so that's why she came to visit. I finally put together a real outfit and took some pictures! So here's what I wore:

Chambray shirt: Burlington Coat Factory, $14.99
Scarf: Walmart, $5
Olive pants: Target, Clearance $7.48!
Boots: Wet Seal, $26

Love my confetti mani! Polish used: NYC in Mulberry Street & Maybelline's Color Show in Gold's Night Out. A neutral yet festive and fun look!

My niece Evelyn "Evie" Joy is just precious! She is such a sweet baby and I love her to pieces! I get to hang out with her and her big brother Nathan on Wednesday, which I can't wait for. I have a few things going on this week so I hope to get some outfit photos. Have a wonderful week y'all!
